How to get to the check-in
Drive your vehicle into the lane marked (signposted). Once you have parked your vehicle proceed with your tickets to check-in in the small chalet at the end of the queuing lanes on the right. Please have your travel documents ready, cf. information on previous page (“Overview”).
Where do I park my vehicle prior to loading?
A check-in operative will assign you a parking position at the terminal. You may leave your car until loading begins but please ensure you have returned by the loading time given. Please remain within the terminal if at all possible, since the loading foreman announces when loading is to begin to you.
Information on the loading process
Please note the information on vehicle loading given on the previous page (“Overview”)
Where can I/we spend the time between loading and departure?
Light meals can be had at the station (two bars and a McDonalds). A 10-to-15-minute walk from the station will take you to several restaurants offering the local cuisine. Newspapers, books, tobacco products and souvenirs are additionally obtainable in the station concourse.
The Roman arena is approx. 20 minutes from the station on foot. The House of Julia and the two squares Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori are a further five minutes’ walk along Via Mazzini. You can also take a bus or a taxi into the centre from the station. The bus stop and taxi rank are in front of the central station (Verona P.N.) on Piazza XIII Aprile.
There is a supermarket (groceries only) in the city centre on Corso Porta Nuova, ahead of the Bra Gates leading to Piazza Bra.
Should you arrive early at the terminal and fail to encounter a check-in operative, you can obtain information on Verona (route to take, bus numbers etc.) at the station. Information on Autozug services or the loading procedure can also be obtained from the “Servizio Clientela” office on Platform 1.
When and where can I/we board the train?
Motorail trains are generally delivered to Platform 1 at Verona P.N. station as a single unit approx. 30 minutes prior to departure. This platform is a little over 300 yards from the terminal (no steps).
Customers with physical disabilities are requested to order the Mobility Service or contact the terminal staff. It is possible to be accompanied to the platform by authorised staff. If there is a need for a wheelchair and/or the lifting device when boarding the train, the check-in staff should be notified of this in good time.
