How do I arrive at the check-in?
Drive to the appropriately signed destination, departure lane. The Trieste check-in is behind the entrance barriers on the right side of the station building and check-in begins at approximately the same time as loading commences.
Please have your travel documentation to hand. Appropriate information is provided for you on the page “Overview”
For the most straight forward route to the terminal please use the SS 14 for both approaches, from the west approach (Udine) and also on arrival from Slowenien. This route is similar for both approaches, by-passing the entry road to both the railway station and the Trieste terminal.
Where do you park your car until loading commences?
Prior to loading commencement the destination departure lanes at the terminals are clearly marked. Please park your car in the appropriate destination lane. Please remain on the terminal site until loading commences. You will be kept informed by terminal personnel about loading details.
Where can you spend your time between arrival and loading commencing?
We recommend you visit the bar in the station. It has small snacks on offer as well as localspecialities. There are also many diverse restaurants in the vicinity of the railway station, which offer good services.
For further specific travel needs there are super-markets and other, alternative diverse shops advertised in the station.

Where may your passengers wait? When and where can they access the train?As a general rule the personnel carriages are situated on platform 1, next to the station queuing lanes. The passengers may take to their booked seats on the train or be seated in the terminal waiting rooms in the station entrance hall
