How to get to the check-in

At the terminal in Berlin-Wannsee, you can drive right up to the check-in point. Please have your travel documents ready. Detailed information is provided on the “Overview“ page.

Where can I park my vehicle until loading begins?

The check-in desk opens ninety minutes before loading begins. A check-in operative will assign you a parking position on the terminal premises. You may leave your vehicle until loading commences but please ensure you are at your vehicle at the loading time given. Please stay within the terminal if possible, as the commencement of loading is announced to you by the loading foreman.

Where can I/we spend the time between loading and departure?

The terminal at Berlin Wannsee has a lounge with a children’s play area and baby changing table. You can either wait in the lounge or visit one of the many leisure amenities or catering outlets in the immediate vicinity of the station. There is a kiosk directly at the terminal which sells a range of articles for the journey.

Where can anyone travelling with me go? When and where can I/we board the train?

The other passengers in your vehicle can wait in the lounge at the terminal or on the platform. The DB Autozug passenger coaches are usually prepared for departure from platform 8, but please consult the notice board in the lounge to check the current departure platform. Platform 8 is located parallel to the loading area and can be reached by crossing the footbridge. Once you reach the platform, please consult the coach position indicator to see where your coach will be located on the platform.

Passengers of impaired mobility are advised to avail themselves of our mobility service, which can be ordered when reserving your DB Autozug trip. All the same, if you have not ordered the mobility service please do not hesitate to ask the terminal staff for assistance. They will enable you to reach the platform without using the stairs. Should you be reliant on a wheelchair, please indicate this to our Mobility Service Centre in advance.
