Vehicles may only be carried in conjunction with the carriage of persons. It is not possible on these grounds to transfer vehicles without an accompanying passenger journey. Trailers may only be carried together with their traction vehicle.
Our carriers are bi-level. You will find precise details of how large your vehicle is permitted to be for the purpose of getting it to the country you are visiting under “Vehicle dimensions”.
Motor cars may be loaded on both decks of the carrier. Please indicate type of car, registration number, length, width and height when booking; likewise, whether it is a convertible, has a soft top and whether roof or rear luggage racks are fitted.
Motor cars with trailers ride on the lower deck. Both must be no more than 1.58 m high for this reason.
Motor cars with rear luggage racks ride on either deck. Bicycles are simply left on the rear luggage rack assuming the maximum loading dimensions stipulated by the railways and countries concerned are not exceeded. Please indicate any accompanying items when booking.

Vans ride on top. There are special positions for vans falling within the height limits set by the countries concerned as a function of roof width.
smart fortwo or other vehicles up to 2.65 m long ride on the bottom deck and cost as little as an accompanying motorcycle.
Vintage cars, convertibles, and trikes are carried on the lower deck wherever possible. On journeys abroad, soft-top motor cars and trikes always travel below. Trikes must not be more than 1.58 m high.

Motorcycles up to 2.65 m long travel below - on top, too, on trips within Germany - and at a special price. Max. height including attachments 1.56 m. Loading staff will lash your motorcycle down with straps and will, at the same time, be very pleased to receive any tips you yourself may have on securing your motorcycle. It is not necessary to remove fixed panniers.
Motorcycles with sidecars up to 2.65 m long are carried for the same price as a solo and likewise travel below.
Crucial booking data for safe vehicle carriage:
- vehicle type (motor car, motorcycle, motorcycle with sidecar, trike or quad)
- type, e.g. saloon, convertible, estate, van, SUV or minibus
- registration number
- length, height, width, including luggage on roof or at back
- ground clearance
- width at roof (check if necessary)
- special features such as a soft top or whether a roof or rear luggage rack is fitted.
