Vehicle information for DB Autozug journeys from and to France
Max. vehicle height for routes to France is 1.75 metre, max. roof width 1.35 metres. Vehicles with a roof width of between 1.35 and max. 1.55 metres (e.g. off-road vehicles and vans) must not exceed a height of 1.71 metres.

Vehicles with a non-metal roof (e.g. convertibles) and vehicles with empty roof racks must not exceed a total height of 1.58 metres.
Empty roof racks only are permitted on French railways. It is prohibited to carry or fasten luggage and other items on or against the vehicle in France.
