skip: Crystal clear water, picturesque locations and the “Pearl of Adriatic”
A coastline of 1,800 kilometres of unspoilt landscape: holidaying in Croatia, it is touring in harmony with nature and culture. The Croatian coast, the mountains, the islands, they leave no room for further wishes, offering answers to all needs and desires.

Croatia reaches from the eastern alpine foothills in the northwest over the Pannonische lowlands, up to the banks of the Danube in the east; the central area is dominated by the Dinara mountain range and the southern area ends at the Adriatic sea.

It was not the Croatians who suggested the Adriatic coast is the most beautiful of the Mediterranean coastline. No it came from others: from modern boat and yachting friends, world travellers, famous sailors, yes, even from the Roman Emperors, who built villas and summer houses, even whole settlements, for their repeated visits to the area to relax and recuperate. There is no other area in the Mediterranean region where there are so many islands, such numerous bays, picturesque beaches and sun drenched rocks, as in Croatia. And the fact there are four national parks and five nature parks underlines the beauty of this holiday destination.

“Croatia, a small land for a great holiday” – in Istria the most popular holiday resorts are Porec, Rovini, Umag, Pula and Rabac. The quantity of tourist bargains will surprise and delight you. Almost everywhere, you can find accommodation of different types: from the simple, family friendly modestly priced bed and breakfast, to the most luxurious hotels.

Dalmatia is the warmest region in Croatia, enjoying an average of 220 days sunshine during the year. The “Pearl of the Adriatic” - Dubrovnik is under protection of UNESCO. The historical city centre with its imposing city wall, nook and cranny alleyways, numerous cafes and restaurants welcome you to stroll and saunter. The Elaphiti Islands spread out directly in front of the city and they can be reached comfortably from Dubrovnik in a boat.

A coastline with numerous islands, beautiful beaches with dense pine brush, white, fine pebbles on the edge of crystal clear sea water: this is where the Adriatic gently reaches the highest point of the Mediterranean and forms a unique landscape which has become a paradise for tourists. In Dalmatia, you find harmonious liaison between the beauty of nature and hundreds of years of history - beginning with the antique world, over ancient Croatian times, the Romanic up to the present time, the individual epochs are reflected in the architecture repeated all along the coast in the picturesque villages. Guests discover numerous possibilities for arranging their holidays and entertainment. There is a peaceful stillness here, but also relaxed Mediterranean evenings and nights, as one can only experience in the south.
