An excursion by foot to the Hohensalzburg fortress takes you past the Stieglkeller, probably Salzburg’s most beautiful Beer Garden with a glorious view over the Old Town. On particularly warm days, a visit to Schloss Hellbrunn is recommended where the joke water fountains provide a pleasant cooling down.
